One of the charming country style bedrooms of Alderwood Cottage - tasteful decor and modern fittings ensure your stay at this self-catering holiday cottage is a home from home experienceThis charming self-catering cottage is a newly renovated old soldier/sailors cottage built in the 1920s. It enjoys frontal views to the surrounding countryside and is located just a stones throw from the lake shore.

The interior has two bedrooms (sleeping up to 4); one is a double-bedded room and the other has bunk beds. Both rooms share a bathroom which has an electric shower, sink unit and wc. The cottage has a large living and dining area with separate wc.

Alderwood Cottage is located 150 yards from a public slipway, ideal for anyone who would bring their own craft. Adequate safe storage for such craft is available on site and in the event that you require boat hire, this is readily available locally.

Alderwood Self-Catering Cottage is also totally self contained with all bed linen provided. Totally encapsulated with the warmth of fine canadian timbers our guests can truly unwind in a most relaxing and peaceful setting.
